it’s been a long, long time since i’ve posted a sneak peek the same day as the session. maybe it’s this amazing weather we’re having, or the fact that i got to walk around one of my favorite milwaukee neighborhoods today (over by the knick!), or maybe because i have an apple crisp cooling on the stove right now, but a day like today just wouldn’t be complete without a little newborn love on this neglected blog of mine.

i often find myself telling others that one of the best parts of this job is the absolute pleasure of watching so many amazing and beautiful children grow up. it’s like being part of their family! four years ago, i got a last minute request for a fall session in the chicago area. i was caught up with editing and prints, so i was happy to make the trip down to celebrate this little dude’s 2nd birthday with a fun photo shoot. that was the first of many, many sessions with this awesome family. here are some of my favorites from their most recent one.
